Experience history from the Stone Age to the Space Age! Our motto explains why the Flagler Beach Historical Museum is so popular with both children and adults. Begin with ancient dinosaur bones and fast forward to dehydrated astronaut food and a flag that rode the Shuttle Endeavour into space.
Come visit our quaint museum of Flagler Beach and Flagler County history, or browse this site for a quick look at our past. Posted past newsletters include at least one local history article in each issue. Access information about all of our special events, our generous supporters and view quarterly additions to our History Corners. |

Hitchin' a Limo to the Disco Ball
The Gala's former Decor Chair (and current Decor consultant) Lesa Douglas didn't have to hitch a ride to The Disco Ball because her name was drawn for the annual free limo ride. Lesa, her husband Dave, and their friends Rich and Lisa Smith enjoyed carefree chauffered transport courtesy of Museum friends: Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
