Experience history from the Stone Age to the Space Age at the Flagler Beach Historical Museum. Our motto explains why the museum is so popular with visitors of multiple interests. Begin with prehistoric bones and fast forward to dehydrated astronaut food and a flag that rode the Shuttle Endeavour into space. Visit our quaint museum of Flagler Beach and Flagler County history Monday-Saturday, 10am-4pm and 6-9pm on the First Friday of each month. |

We are now looking for DOCENTS to help greet our guests and answer questions about the area. Located just half a block from the Pier, learn at your leisure all about Flagler Beach and Flagler County, share your new knowledge with visitors, and then learn more from area residents as they share their stories with you.
Work on your own, or alongside other docents, or join as a team with a spouse or a friend. Shifts are flexible but are usually 3 hours. Choose from 10am-1pm or 1pm to 4pm Monday through Saturday, or an occasional evening or Sunday. Join us for just three hours a month or a couple times a week. We can customize our schedule to fit with yours. PS: Looking for something more challenging? Ask about becoming the Assistant Volunteer Coordinator. Call Teri 439-6262 anytime. |
